Instead of hour-long screenshares with a trained checker poking through folders, you mint a 6-digit code, the player runs a small agent, and you receive a structured forensic report in under a minute. It's designed for tournament admins, league operators, team managers, and content creators who need defensible evidence — fast.

What does the agent scan?

The agent collects standard Windows forensic artifacts: the Master File Table (MFT), prefetch entries, registry hives, pagefile traces, loaded modules and kernel drivers, USN journal records, and a hardware fingerprint. On top of that, it runs signature checks for known cheat loaders, anti-forensic tools, timestamp wipers, and bypass utilities. Everything collected is directly relevant to detecting cheating — nothing more.

What does it NOT touch?

No browsing history. No saved passwords or session tokens. No keystrokes. No screenshots of the desktop. No personal documents, photos, chat logs, or emails. The agent does not enable remote control and the operator never sees the player's screen. If it isn't a forensic artifact tied to cheat detection, it's out of scope — by design.

Does the player have to consent?

Yes, every single time. When the agent launches, it opens a consent page in the player's default browser explaining exactly what will be collected and what won't. Until the player explicitly accepts, the scan does not proceed and your dashboard shows the session as 'waiting for player to accept'. Consent is logged with the report.

How long does a session last?

You choose the code's lifetime when you create it — anywhere from 5 minutes up to 1 hour. Once the timer expires, the code becomes invalid and cannot be reused. If a player connects within the window, the active session continues even if the join window closes.

Where is my data stored?

Accepted Answer

All transport is over TLS. Reports are processed once, encrypted at rest, and tied to a single session under your account. We do not build a persistent profile of the player across sessions and we do not sell or share data. You can delete a report at any time from your dashboard.

Which games are supported?

The forensic sweep itself is engine-agnostic — it inspects the operating system, not the game process — so it works regardless of what's installed. Signature packs are tuned for popular competitive titles, with Rainbow Six Siege as the default profile and dedicated profiles for Rust and VALORANT. New profiles are added as the cheat ecosystem moves.

Do I need admin rights on the player's PC?

Yes. The agent requests UAC elevation at launch because several artifacts (kernel driver state, full registry hive access, pagefile reads) are unreadable from a standard user context. If elevation is denied, the scan still runs but the report is explicitly marked as 'incomplete — non-elevated', so you know not to treat it as a clean pass.

What if the player refuses to run it?

Nothing happens — and that's the point. The session sits in 'waiting for player to accept' until they accept, the code expires, or you cancel it manually. No data is ever collected without explicit consent. How you treat a refusal in your ruleset is up to you and your league.

Can the agent be tricked or bypassed?

Accepted Answer

No tool catches everything, and we don't pretend otherwise. What we do: continuously update bypass and cleaner signatures, verify the agent's own integrity at runtime, and flag tampering attempts (modified binary, debugger attached, suspicious environment) directly in the report. If someone goes to extreme lengths, the evidence of those lengths usually shows up in the artifacts themselves.

How are reports delivered?

Reports appear live in your dashboard as the scan runs, and the final report is available the moment the sweep completes. You can download the full structured report (JSON + a human-readable PDF), share a redacted public link with your league, or export raw artifacts for an independent reviewer.

Is Cloverfield itself open to inspection?
